Vascular Screenings
The Centegra Wellness on the Move mobile health unit offers a comprehensive vascular screening package to check your risk for stroke and heart disease. Walk away with confidential results including:
- An ultrasound of your carotid arteries
- Ankle Brachial Index
- EKG/Heart Rhythm
- An ultrasound of your abdominal Aorta
- BMI, pulse, Blood Pressure
Echo Screenings
The Centegra Wellness on the Move mobile health unit now offers Echocardiogram screenings designed for teenagers. This screening is an ultrasound of the heart and can help detect heart defects and abnormalities, even when no symptoms are present. Screenings are interpreted by R. David Halstead, MD., a Centegra Physcian Care doctor specializing in Pediatric Cardiology.
Lipid Screenings
Know your numbers with a Lipid Screening and Fasting Glucose test!! Screening includes total cholesterol, HDL and LDL cholesterol, HDL ratios, triglycerides, and fasting glucose levels all at a reduced rate. A 12-hour fast and registration are required. Call 815-444-2900 to register.
Diabetes Screenings
This simple glucose screening will help detect diabetes with a simple finger-stick test which measures blood sugar levels following 8 hours of fasting.
